Izmir University of Economics was established on April 14, 2001 in Izmir, Turkey.
There are eight faculties, two colleges, three vocational schools, an institute, ten application and research centers in Izmir University of Economics. There are twenty-four associate degree, thirty-three undergraduate, twenty-eight graduate and seven doctoral programs throughout the university. While the language of instruction is completely English in many departments, it is Turkish in some departments. The university has 482 lecturers and 9,441 students. International students from 48 different countries; degree, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education.
