Founded on 9 July 1997 by Kültür Higher Education Foundation (KEV), Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) provides higher education with a total of 700 academic staff, including undergraduate education in 8 faculties, associate degree in two vocational schools, IKU Vocational School and Vocational School of Justice, and master’s and doctoral education in the Graduate School of Graduate Studies. A total of 13,388 students (3264 in associate’s degree, 8579 in undergraduate degree, 1545 in graduate degree) are studying at IKU, which has an international climate.
All campuses of Istanbul Kültür University are located at the intersection of land, air, sea and rail transport, making it an easily accessible location and an urban university with a dense population around it. IKU operates in four separate campuses with a total area of 127966 m2 on the E-5 Highway and TEM Highway.
